Today was a day of experimenting with developers and playing the role of chemist... this is the best developer variation so far as we try to crack the secret developer formula from the manufacturer, this is progress from this mornings completely black plates!

Happy Day 50, 100 Dayers!!
I almost found myself in a situation where I was without an image for today's milestone. After preparing a defective batch of tintype plates and producing blank image after blank image and feeling heartbroken because of it I stumbled upon a solution and a new way to use my bad plates. I think that's an important part of this whole experience, letting go of expectations, leaving your self open to the day's creative challenges and when dealing with "failure" discovering something new and exciting in the face of a challenge.
